Jay L Clarke is an internationally exhibiting artist based in Leicester, UK. Clarke makes sculptural works abstracting the human for in partially autonomous process to convey emotives of vulnerability. Clarke works 2-d, 3-d and in installation to create experiential work revolving around sculptures seemingly somewhere between liquid and solid appearing to swell, shriven or generally decay. These works are displayed in ways which provoke the viewer and demands a response by playing on the role of the exhibition space and the roles of the viewer.
